California dreamin'

My dream, for as long as I can remember, has been to go to Disneyland. If you grew up watching Disney films, then you know allllll about those delightful little previews of the parent's surprising their little ones with a trip to the Disney parks; or perhaps the one of the two little boys dragging their giant suitcase up the stairs! It wasn't just me who glowed green with envy when I watched those, right? My family has never taken much of an interest in Disney so going to Disneyland with them was never an option.

Then I met Mariah in the 7th grade, and six years later, she accompanied me on my first trip to Disneyland in California. (:

freaking $10 breakfast fml~ wasn't even that great >___>

 

After 30 minutes or so of waiting, we finally boarded! I got the window seat (:<

 

HAPPYYYYY! even got my Minnie Ears on already!

 

 

She brought Flounder, and I bought Pascal in honour of our favourite Disney princesses. Her's being Ariel, and mine being Rapunzel! I personally think Rapunzel and Ariel would be wonderful friends if they ever were to meet. They are both artistic & creative, and most importantly, they are both dreamers. Coincidentally, we bought these plushies for each other.

THEN WE LANDED OMG. Mariah's grandparents were our hosts for this trip! Super thankful for them because it saves us money on hotel ^^

Best cheeseburgers in the whole world omg~ and the fries are so gooooooooood. I'm drooling.

Getting ready for summer ☼

Vent first

So lately I've been absolutely lacking. Lacking money. Lacking a job. Lacking motivation. Lacking inspiration. And lemme tell you, it totally sucks. :( I've been trying to dismiss these feelings of hollowness --becoz negative feelings = more negative feelings = negative life events-- but I can't seem to no matter how many creative activites I hurl myself into.

I've tried watching some of my favourite movies~ Breakfast at Tiffanys, Roman Holiday, Clueless, Marie Antoinette... I've tried making collages, which only resulted in my sulking coz I can't afford any of the clothes I collaged [well, I could, but I'd be broke fml], I've tried rearranging my room, doodling, writing etc etc~ nothing worked, so that's why I'm blogging today! :D

I'm feeling better already, being able to vent a little, and talk about me lololol I also had a job interview on Friday, and will be calling them to follow up on my status after I finish this post! I also plan on working on a few reviews later, and HOPEFULLY do a hair tut that someone requested back in February. X:

I discovered this store back in November of last year, and it immediately became one of my favourites. ❤ They carry cute items that are super feminine and edgy~ Everything is also well-priced, in my opinion.

Wildfox Couture

 

 

 

Wildfox is turning into one of my favorite stores. They are super bubblegummy, and carry something for everyone and feed every interest!

 

They are quite pricy, but I believe it's worth it since their items are so unique and cute! I really want to get the "Things I love" shirt, and most definitely the baby pink "Love Potion" sweater since it features my two favourite colors-- pink and gold!

the only snap that turned out ok from the fifty selfies I took LOL. I tried really hard this time at gyaru makeup. Usually I just pop some lenses in, and put top falsies on with little eyeliner on top. But this time I did the whole sha-bang! I spent over an hour trying to make it perfect, and I'd like to think I did ok :)

 

Also did a review for some lashes that day;; it'll be up as soon as I edit pictures ^^
