Helloooo! I haven't blogged in a really long time D: I've gotten busy & when I'm not busy, I'm lazy~

Anywho.. I had a hair appointment yesterday to fix my hideous roots. 

All I instructed my stylist to do is "Make my roots match the rest of my hair." We ended up bleaching my roots, which is fine, but I didn't think I would end up being a blondie again...

She definitely did match my roots to the rest of my hair.. I just never realized how light my hair was!! I was so shocked when we washed the colour out & I felt super self conscious. The first time I went blonde, I loved it, but I felt so uncomfortable from the amount of attention I got from it in public that I wanted to dye it darker. 

Feeling super insecure, I headed into work straight after my appointment. However, to my delight, the majority of the feedback I got was positive! ^ ^ the kids called me Goldilocks, and told me I look even more like Fionna from Adventure time! ❤️❤️

I know other people's opinions shouldn't matter, but yesterday, they did. I've had some time to play around with my hair & I feel a lot better about it! ❤️ So without further ado... CAMWHO PICS :D

Finn the Human

So here's the lowdown. I work at an elementary school. It's a bloopaloopy job; I basically get paid to play. I love all the kids I work with, but I do indeed have favourites. Different kids, for different reasons. 

Today I'm going to tell you about one in particular. Let's refer to him as Finn.

Finn is the coolest kid I have ever met. We played one game of cards on a Monday, and clicked instantly. He has an Invader Zim backpack [honestly who WATCHES that anymore???] [freaking cool kids like Finn]~, he can tie his shoes without his thumbs, and he has a major love for Adventure Time. He was the first to guess my Halloween costume, and said he knew the answer because, and I quote, "You have long pretty hair like Fionna, and you're pretty algebraic." ❤️

A few days ago, he told me he wouldn't be coming to my work very much anymore. "I'm gonna miss all of you peoples. Especially you, Miss Cheynna." 

Finn, my kiddie at work, is the real life Finn to me. I love watching Adventure Time because it truly makes me feel like a child again. It positively changes my perspective on life. My Finn at work constantly reminds me that I am happiest when I embrace the kid in me. Even if that means never retrieving my green sticky frog thats still stuck on the ceiling in the cafeteria.

Anyways, our time is cut short now & I'm a bit bunked about it. We both love the poo-brained horse in A.T., and had plans to draw a whole bunch and plant them around the school lol~ so I drew him one ❤️

Today was the Fall Festival at work, and I went as Finn since my Fionna hat isn't finished~

Punchayobunsssss! 

My real life Jake [real life Finn's best friend] told me him and Finn had plans to surprise & match me today, but Finn was absent and Jake couldn't find his hat.

GAH~ I really just love the kids I work with. They're all so mathematical~ ❤️❤️❤️

Autumn fashion ♡

Hello everyone! Happy October  (︶ω︶) I hope you all have been enjoying your pumpkin spice lattes, daily strolls through the leaf littered roads, & sweater shopping!!! ♡♡♡ I, however, will not be partaking in excessive spending. . . because I've recently bought myself a CAR ^ ^~ say hello to my handsome Volkswagen buggy!

Isn't it darling? I'm absolutely OBSESSED! However, it came at a price that I have to pay off every month, but I'm going to do my best to pay in large sums sooner! But that totes means I have to budget this season and I am NOT about that life~

I am definitely wanting to buy summor cardis, knit sweaters, tights/sockies, & giant scarves! @____@ add any of those with basic dresses & skirts and you've got yourself a mathematically cute outfit!!! 

♡ I'm already making a shopping list of items I've seen whilst online browsing~ I'm thinking Dreamv, Forever 21, & the Vent outlet! 

Perhaps I should make a budget shopping list entry? Like, items $50 or $30 and less?;;;

When you wish upon a star. . .

HELLO EVERYONE

I am finally bringing my piccies from Disneyland out into the interwebz! This post will be my first day at Disneyland/my very first trip to Disneyland! I still feel so lucky that I was able to go. It was my dream for so long, and the experience absolutely exceeded my expectations.

So many wonderful and lucky things happened on July 17, 2013... Minutes before we left, we discovered that it was Disneyland's 58th birthday, I saw Rapunzel in PERSON & cried omg, a disney pirate asked me to join Captain Hook's crew with him, and so much more....

This post is going to be VERY pic heavy~ so let's start!

The first thing you see when you enter the park... Disneyland's train station. ♡

MY DARLINGGGGGGG!

 

There was a small stand selling yummy treats & accesories! We stopped so Mariah could buy a pair of ears. She bought the black sequin ears~ I really wanted the hot pink ones, but I couldn't muster up the courage to spend $20 on them... >____>

 

After we left the kiosk, we entered Mainstreet! There were a lot of characters out that morning. Mainly the original characters, Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, etc~ but yeah....

he hugged me SO TIGHTLY! Oh my god I was blubbering with excitement I'm pretty sure I could have started to foam at the mouth aJDSFKL~

OH LORD this castle is so GRAND and ILLUSTRIOUS! My heart was racing with excitement & happiness. This is the moment when my mind clicked. "I'm here. I made it. Dreams come true." ♡

After going through the castle, we headed to my first Disneyland ride... ever...

 

 

After much consideration, I picked Dumbo as my first ride. This ride is one of the original Disneyland rides, and I just love this little elephant. He takes a quirk of his, embraces it, and becomes successful! He should really be an inspiration to us all lolol~

After we headed over to Dumbo seat off to the side of ride. I assume it's there for people to camwhore ^ ^ Disneyland is so thoughtful see hahaha

 

Then after, we headed over to the Peter Pan ride!

 

 

Pretty murals! Really added to the magical feeling ^ ^

 

Our cart for the ride were these ships~ like the ship at the end of the movie! :')

 

This ride is easily one of my favourites. I cried so many happy tears on it. When I first watched Peter Pan as a child I was absolutely captivated! I watched the movie every single night in hopes that Peter Pan would come to my window, and take me to Neverland with him. This ride really captures that enchantment; I really felt as if Peter took my hand, and led me to Neverland ♡

 

Most of the rides we went on in the beginning of the day were located in Fantasyland which is the home of mostly storybook rides! I think we managed to go on every single ride, as well as going on some of them multiple times ^ ^ But ya~ it's a really lovely part of the park. Think cobblestone roads & cottages! ♡

 

 

Some pics from the ride! This one is also one of my favourites. Before this trip, I had never seen or had any interest in Pinocchio. But after taking a trip through the story, as well as MEETING Pinocchio OMG [more on that later] I became obsessed. I adore Pinocchio! ajdkls!

My first Disneyland meal lol. We went to some place in Tomorrowland I forget what. But I ordered a chicken salad since it was the cheapest/healthiest thing on the menu. It was mediocre~

After hours of going from ride to ride we both got a bit restless! So we went over to the theatre to watch a show called "Mickey's Magical Map" it's a gigantic musical that features various disney characters! Mariah and I knew very little about it so we were really excited!

THEN OMG GUESS WHO CAME OUT OH 0MYG OD

 

I'm sure you can guess which song she sang by the lanterns! I so shocked and happy that I started to cry.

 

BUT THEN IT GOT BETTER

 FLYNN CAME OUT OMG AT THIS POINT I WAS COVERING MY FACE AND BAWLING

 

I can't even BEGIN to explain what this meant to me. Rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess. I admire her so much, and relate to her more than any of the others. Seeing her on stage just made her REAL. I'm tearing up while typing this I'm such a wuss omg.

You can also see Mulan and Pocahontas in the background! They performed as well!

 

Then Tiana came out and wrapped the show up. She's also one of my favourite princesses!! ♡

 

 

After the show, we headed down to Mainstreet for a snack & window shopping.

Then the parade started! So many wonderful things happened to me during the parade, but unfortunately my camera died lol ofc

 

Rapunzel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, & Cinderella were on this float. *fangirl squeal*

 

Ariel had her own float! Tiana did as well.

 

STORYTIME ♡

 

The Neverland crew was featured during this parade. Captain Hook, Smee, Peter Pan, and two pirates danced down the street with Tinkerbell on her float following them. The parade had stopped due to technical issues, so Peter Pan and all the other characters went around and interacted with the crowd. Mariah and I were sitting on the ground, so I didn't expect any of them to come up to us, but I enjoyed their presence anyhow coz HELLO PETER PAN lololol

 

But, omg. The most handsome pirate came up to me. [not my picture]

He crouched down to my level, held his hand out for mine, and asked me if I was a pirate like him. I of course said yes~ he commented on the "treasure" I wore on my arm [my pearl bracelet & rhinestone bracelet] then he asked me to join Hook's crew and BAM WE GOT MARRIED.

 

LOLJK. But I may or may not have been a small mess after. I've never seen a pirate with such piercing silver eyes, and don't think I haven't forgot them. He was really charming. Even with that mustache hahaha

 

Then right after a very familiar boy skipped passed, and messed around with some kids next to us. . . snapped with my trusty iPod!

 

 

 

The parade was back up and running soon enough, so Peter had to take off. But of course, not without sticking his tongue out at me, and then after pulling my minnie ears down to my eyes >____>

All in my first trip, I got so many interactions and made so many special memories. My heart is so filled with gratitude & happiness. I am such a lucky gal. I can't even.

 

As I stated earlier, my camera died during the parade. Mariah and I spent the rest of our time wandering around the park & watching the fireworks show above the castle. ♡ ALSO OMG a cute little old man told me I looked like Marie from the Aristocats!!!! OMGOMGOMG she was my inspiration for my outfit too! GAH~ the things that come with dressing cute ^ ^

 

My life got even more luckier after as we returned to Disneyland a few days later! :D hehehe Disneyland day 2 post coming soon~ ♡♡♡
